Juliet’s is a lovely, cozy and quaint restaurant, located near where I live in the English countryside, and it’s a restaurant dear to my heart. This painting was inspired by a photo I took on a lovely day, having brunch and some tea at Juliet’s.

The Poet

The Poet is simply one of the most magical restaurants I’ve ever been to, and one of my favourite restaurants also located near where I live in the English countryside. This painting was inspired by a photo I took during my wonderful pre-birthday lunch last December.

A Family Dinner in Istanbul

My family and I had such a wonderful evening at Eleos restaurant in Istanbul, and as I reminisce, I can see the most beautiful views of Istanbul from our table, the warmth of our conversations, and the delicious Turkish food with most delicious bread! It is such a lovely memory for me, and one I felt inspired to paint here as well :)

Artistic Process

Each painting begins with a photo I capture, I then transform it using Google Art Transfer 2, exploring different generated paintings, styling the photo with varying themes as well, and then I select the one that speaks to me. From there, I bring it to life by hand, shaping and transforming it as I feel to along the way.
